Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

Oracle Cloud Projects and Grants Solution Architect (PPM) - Consulting Technical Manager
Oracle ERP Cloud Projects Functional Solution Architect Projects/Grants (PPM Projects Portfolio Management) with experience in the following modules: Project Accounting, Grants, Project Costing and Project Billing, ideally in a Public Sector environment.
You will provide functional leadership for assigned project role focused on implementing Oracle Cloud Projects/Grants (PPM) applications and any relative solution design, business process analysis, and system integration. Analyst will act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Oracle Cloud Projects application consulting team supporting the configuration and extension of the Oracle Cloud Projects modules.
This position is to analyze business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. As a position of technical/professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology.
The successful candidate will recommend and justify enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to deliver functional and technical expertise on a wide range of business and technology solutions. Leads experienced consulting teams on challenging projects; works on significant and unique issues. Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Resolves very complex customer escalations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions.
Understanding Oracle Projects/Grants functionality and capabilities to drive the teams to design and develop application along with assisting with quarterly update testing and new feature evaluation.
Oracle Cloud Projects and Grants experience including but not limited to:
8 years PPM experience with Project Accounting, Project Billing, Project Costing and Grants.
- Deep knowledge and experience with the entire PPM Suite (Project Execution and Project Financials)
o Project planning, task management, resource management, project financials, costing, billing and customer contracts, performance reporting
Ability to configure billing and revenue plans to meet contract billing and revenue recognition requirements
Knowledge of Application Composer functionality, including the ability to extend standard PPM objects and create custom objects to meet specific business needs
o Application Composer can be used to add additional fields on certain PPM forms in lieu of relying on DFFs. This tool will be used to capture non-financial data and evaluation requirements and add fields to Deliverables form
OTBI and workflow
Enterprise Contracts experience
Oracle Projects/Grants Cloud certifications are desirable. If not, willing to obtain Cloud Certification shortly after joining Oracle.
Broader product, technology or industry expertise is an advantage. Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions. In-depth knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices. Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology and solutions. Proficient in using selling and negotiation techniques and tools.

Experience as a resource in the implementation full lifecycle of at least 3 Oracle Projects Cloud implementations and Supporting Oracle Cloud with hands-on configurations.
Lead the day-to-day activities of Oracle Cloud Projects & Grants modules, including process design, implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews.
Experience with Project Accounting, Project Billing, Project Costing, Grants, or similar module experience.
Ability to Configure Oracle Applications to meet client requirements and document application set-ups.
Assist with design workshops and functional process workshops in all Projects/Grants areas.
Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training.
Define testing scenarios and develop validation scripts.
Support clients with the execution of validation scripts.
