Cricut Software QA Engineer (Contract with Benefits) in South Jordan, Utah
Cricut has an immediate opportunity for a Software QA engineer. This person will be responsible for testing and qualifying the stories and new features during development phase, working closely with the development team, UX and product management. The person will also work on end-to-end Cricut echo system of the next generation of Cricut Products, this includes Hardware, Firmware, Software, Content and Mobile Application. This product uses the latest Windows/Mac OS, .Net, iOS, Android, Bluetooth and Hardware technologies. The successful candidate will contribute immediately as an integrated member of a cross-functional project test team.
We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Quality Engineer who will be responsible for testing and qualifying the stories and new features during development phase, working closely with the development team, UX and product management. This position is responsible for test development and maintaining quality of Software for next generation of Cricut Products. (e.g. existing commercialized products, new product development, protocols, manufacturing, and/or system compliance).
The successful candidate should be able to qualify the software components that fuel the next generation of personal cutting systems.
Experience in testing Web and Mobile applications
Experience in writing test cases
Experience in testing user stories and features under development.
Experience in reviewing feature requirements / acceptance criteria and proving feedback and recommendations.
Experience in analyzing logs and debugging using browser debugging tools.
Must possess a very solid understanding of testing methodologies
Good to have skills:
Programming experience in C# or Java
Experience in testing API end points
Experience in testing Bluetooth, USB communication and networking protocols.
Experience in Testing and Qualifying Consumer Electronics Products
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
