Job Description The Software Engineer will program in C# and C++ to develop and maintain training simulators. The Software Engineer will work with high-end tools to generate immersive and interactive software. Regular work hours are expected in a team atmosphere with occasional overtime to meet schedule commitments. Responsibilities: andmiddot; Use high-end development and game engine tools to create and maintain software to simulate real-life training situations for a variety of simulated equipment andmiddot; Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle from specifications and design through delivery and maintenance Minimum Qualifications: *2 or more years of software engineering experience *BS in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or other relevant field (applicants with a significant amount of software engineering experience but without a relevant degree will still be considered) *Experience in Windows application development *C# and C++ skills Desired Qualifications (A range of experience in the following areas is preferred): andmiddot; Microsoft Visual Studio andmiddot; Unity3D engine andmiddot; Simulation andmiddot; Virtual reality andmiddot; Real-time software and speed optimizations andmiddot; WPF and data binding in Visual Studio andmiddot; TFS or other version control and project management systems andmiddot; Physics engines andmiddot; Database programming andmiddot; User Interface development andmiddot; Complex networked multi-computer projects andmiddot; Automated build systems
