Job Title: Sr. Specialist, Software Engineer

L3Harris, Broadband Communications Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to develop software applications that can duplicate real world scenarios to prove equipment can meet end-user requirements. These applications would include, but not limited to, simulators, emulators and automated scripts. This candidate will also be responsible for writing test plans, test descriptions, test reports, along with executing tests and logging defects. Testing will be performed at a system level on hardware using user interfaces, rather than at a lower component or unit level. This candidate will also work with closely with systems engineers to integrate on various hardware platforms, as well as working closely working with other software and hardware engineers to identity issues. New employees are assigned technical and career mentors. Your technical mentor will work with you while you learn and grow here at L3Harris to ensure your success. Your career mentor will be an experienced member of the L3Harris team that help you attain your career goals with L3Harris.


  • Requires at least BSCS/ /BSCE/BSEE/BSME from an ABET (EAC/CAC) accredited program, or equivalent engineering degree, or equivalent technical education and work experience.

  • 6+ years of directly related experience in software development

  • 6+ years coding in Java, C#, and Source Control (e.g. Git)
