KPMG Spark provides bookkeeping services designed for small business owners. Our dedicated bookkeeping teams utilize our software to handle client's books by securely sending their data and automatically connecting it to their bank accounts, credit cards and third party integrations through the Spark app. Our services help clients ensure their financials are up to date, their payroll is delivered, their taxes are filed, and more importantly our clients are freed up to do more of what they love. We're looking to add a talented (and awesome) CPA in our fast-paced, fin-tech services team at KPMG to help foster an amazing level of service for our customers. This position is considered to be a crucial, highly important role at.
KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Full Stack Web Developer to join our KPMG Spark organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide support, design, construct and implement software that meets business requirements
Build out enhancements and features for the application
Identify and resolve bugs in the application while supporting day to day technical administration including upgrades and release management, analyzing log files, configuration and change control
Conduct code review of team member's code
Architect new and modify old tables in the database
Participate in the development and maintenance of appropriate project technical documentation including design, configuration and installation
Qualifications:
Minimum two years of experience with software development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited college/university or a minimum of two years of related field or equivalent industry experience
Proven experience with at least one modern Object Oriented Programming Language (ex: C#, Java, Ruby)
Deep understanding of MVC frameworks and Architecture
Prior knowledge with at least one modern ORM (ex: Hibernate, Entity, Active Record)
Experience with front end JavaScript frameworks (ex: React.js, Vue.js, and Angular)
