Dominion Energy Programmer Analyst in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

This position does not offer relocation assistance.
Under general supervision, works on fairly complex programs and performs systems design. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains programs. Works company wide, in a specific platform environment, on a specific project assignment. Provides occasional functional guidance to less experienced Programmer Analysts. Errors may cause minor delay, expense, and disruption.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Minimum Requirements(Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience in programming or systems analysis required
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Oracle database design
Knowledge of Oracle APEX web development
Knowledge of Apache SVN
Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and SQL Server.
Experience using Oracle and/or SQL and database structures
Experience with Powershell
Experience with Crystal Report developer
Ability to create and understand Linux scripts
Ability to analyze and support compliance reporting systems.
Ability to participate effectively in interpersonal exchange and understanding.
Demonstrated ability to seek out and understand customers' issues.
Conceptual thinking and reasoning abilities.
Demonstrated competency in logical and analytical thinking.
Experience in adapting to and applying rapidly-changing technology to business needs.
Demonstrated ability to perform as technical expert in field.
Ability to work independently.
Concern for quality.
Ability to take on-call rotations, including nights and weekends
Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
