    Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and partner with product teams toward implementation of architectural runways:

  • Data Pipelining & Workflow Frameworks

  • CI/CD

  • Cloud Adoption

  • Build frameworks and services that enable self-service, reuse and agility.

  • Partner with product teams to architect, design and implement solutions and guide them toward adopting best practices and sound patterns.

  • Embrace and incubate emerging technology and open-source adoption.

  • Promote a culture of engineering excellence. Continually looking for opportunities to reuse and adopt inner-source solutioning.

  • Simplify/Modernize data analytics platforms and tooling.

  • Collaborate with product teams to identify opportunities for automation.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

  • At least 10+ years’ experience in one of the following (can be a combination):

  • Software development (Python, Java)

  • Data Warehousing and data management

  • Big Data

  • Cloud

  • Strong experience with Git.

  • Strong experience developing on Linux OS.

  • Proven experience building/consuming web services.

  • Ability to understand and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

  • Comfortable communicating with teams via showcases/demos.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, data structures, design principles, algorithms.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building applications on Docker and Kubernetes.

  • 2+ years experience with Azure DevOps.

  • 2+ years experience with CI/CD (e.g. Xebia Labs or Azure Pipelines).

  • Azure Cloud experience (e.g. Synapse, ADLS, Databricks).

  • Conceptual understanding of data governance capabilities (e.g. data catalog, classification, profiling, data sharing).

  • Experience collaborating on data science initiatives.

  • Experience with streaming technologies, such as Kafka or Flink.

  • Agile Development Methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Kanban, Scrum).

    Pay Range: 125,000-$160,000
