Kforce Performance Engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah
Kforce has a client in search of a Performance Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT.Summary:We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, develop, implement, and manage AWS cloud environments. The engineer will be heavily involved throughout the development process providing direct support and solutions to development teams. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of customer environments.The Value You Deliver:
Develop, design, implement, and support application/web servers running WebSphere, TcServer, and Apache
Develop, design, implement, and support applications running within the AWS cloud.
System Administration in Linux and AWS environments
Develop monitoring and management tools and processes
Accurately estimate work requirements and create detailed plans
Document processes and best practices
Communicate effectively in team environment
Identify departmental needs and make suggestions regarding technical direction
Participate in an on-call rotation and provide 24x7 support
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
5 years of development, systems administration, and AWS experience
Performance Testing: LoadRunner, JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, HP UFT required
Linux systems administration experience required
Application development experience required
Developing Internet based applications that operate in a client/server environment required
Application performance testing experience required
Languages: Java, SQL, scripting (bash/ksh) preferred
Application server: Tomcat, Apache, IBM WebSphere
AWS cloud experience desired
