The Role

We?re looking for talented Jr Java developers to work with our client in Salt Lake City, UT. (flexibility to work 1 hour on a Sunday every 3 months as well as work rotating shift from 7 AM to 3/4PM MST & 10 AM to 7 PM MST every other week).

  • Collaborate with global cross functional team in building customer-centric software products.

  • Manage existing applications, bug fixing, enhancement and interacting with users to resolve problems.

  • Requirement gathering and interacting with the end users.

  • Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide deadline estimates for implementing new features.

  • Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices and software runbooks.

  • Must be independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environment.

What You?ll Definitely Need

  • 3+ plus years of experience in Java 8/ Python.

  • 2+ years of experience building REST APIs.

  • Experience in debugging, Root Cause Analysis on production systems failures and formulate corrective action plans.

  • Experience in Relational Databases & NoSQL.

What We?d Love to See

  • Experience in Spring a plus.

  • Good experience in writing SQL queries.

  • Comfort with Agile operating models.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • The successful candidate must be independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environment

  • Experience of working in Financial Services or Fintech industry would be highly advantageous.
