The Position

Cleo is looking for a Front-End Developer to join our Product Development team to make a big impact on the Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) platform by influencing how our various applications look, feel and how they are developed and deployed. This position can be based out of any one of our US offices or remotely from anywhere within the US. We’ll work with you to find the right fit! Ideal candidates will have a passion for producing high-quality applications that are intuitive to use. Primary responsibilities include building responsive and elegant user experiences using the latest standards and best practices.

What you will be doing

  • Maintain and build features together with a cross-functional development team and product owner inside the scrum framework

  • Have a big impact on the Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) platform by influencing how our various applications look and feel and how they are developed and deployed

  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to deliver feature-rich capabilities to our customers

  • Work together with Product Management/Owners, Systems Architects, User Interaction Designers, and other stakeholders to iterate on new features within the CIC platform

  • Utilize cutting-edge technology and promote new ideas to elevate our application development process

  • Actively participate in guilds/Communities of Practice to learn, coach, and grow as a team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Understanding of object-oriented concepts, software design principles, agile software development life cycle

  • Solid understanding of web technologies such as REST, HTTP, JSON

  • Professional experience with JavaScript component-based frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, etc.

  • Fluency with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Must show an ability to write clean and well-structured code

  • Must have experience in working with production systems for external client use

  • Must have experience with troubleshooting and bug resolution in live client systems

  • Must have experience with source code management and unit testing

  • Some understanding of UI design principles and best practices

  • Must show an ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively

  • Must be a self-starter with an ability to work independently

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass, SCSS, or LESS

  • Development experience withNode.js

  • Some experience working with Jenkins

  • Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Rollup, Browserify, Parcel, Gulp, or Grunt
