Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal System Test Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah. The selected candidate will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

What You'll Get To Do:

Support the development of test plans and test architecture for strategic missile end-to-end and flight tests and Lab infrastructure

Evaluate requirements and develop test concept of operations

Define and implement detailed test facility requirements

Support the development of pre-flight test missile requirement verification plans and lab testing

Stand up system test facilities and work closely with site stakeholders (Safety, Security, Product Teams)

Will require travel to El Segundo for cross training with the PSIL team in 2021.

Working well with others and excellent communication skills are a must

Overtime, odd shifts, and weekend work will occasionally be required

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 9 Years of experience, 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.(STEM Degree) or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree

  • DOD Secret Clearance as well as the ability to obtain and maintain Program Special access, with reinvestigation within the past 5 years

  • Experienced with many types of instrumentation, collection systems and design for test

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

-Active Top Secret Clearance

-Experience in facilities design/development for test of large scale missile systems

-Knowledge of test equipment, use and design for test for specialty test articles

-Knowledge of MBSE/CAMEO

-SCRUM/AGILE test environment

-TeamCenter and DOORS Requirements SW
