Sales Enablement Technology Team

The Sales Enablement Technology team is part of the larger Sales Effectiveness group, comprising Sales Operations (Pipeline management, CRM management) and Sales Enablement (Sales Training and Field Enablement).

The Sales Enablement Technology team works collaboratively within the Sales Enablement team to ensure a common approach to the development and implementation of sales tools and systems across the Global RIM Organization (GRO). This includes ensuring our tools provide an exceptional sales experience, underpinned by consistent governance and technology strategy.

The Sales Enablement Technology team is focused on scaling tools and technology to countries across GRO and is responsible for developing and maintaining:

  • A centralized sales enablement platform to provide sales with relevant content to support them in their role

  • Automated tools to enable the creation of sales documents (proposals, presentations, and customized communications) aligned to our brand

  • Governance rules with a disciplined approach to content curation across the sales enablement tools.

  • Metrics and analytics to support the adoption and effectiveness of Sales Enablement platforms, tools, and content.

The team comprises

  • Manager of Sales Enablement Technology – works proactively with stakeholders across the Sales Enablement function to ensure alignment to a common technology strategy.

  • Systems Administrator and Analyst – manages user access to tools and content libraries with relevant reporting to determine adoption and effectiveness of tools.

  • Technology Specialist and Analyst – manages the integration and delivery of content across platforms and synthesizes the reporting and analytics across platforms.

  • Governance and Content Specialist – ensures content owners are focused on content curation by enforcing defined governance rules and practices.

  • Automated Sales Tools Specialist – ensures development of technology solutions to enable sales to quickly and easily generate branded sales documents and communications.

Title: Sales Enablement Technology Specialist and Analyst

The Sales Enablement Technology Specialist and Analyst will manage the integration and delivery of content across platforms and will synthesize metrics and analytics to determine effectiveness of these platforms and tools in delivering sales results.

Key Accountabilities: The Sales Enablement Technology Specialist and Analyst is accountable for:

  • Managing, configuring, and supporting Sales Enablement platforms, by managing user accounts, content libraries, and system settings.

  • Supporting the integration of Sales Enablement Technology tools into other platforms such as SFDC to increase sales effectiveness.

  • Maintaining governance of site and content through naming conventions, tagging, and curation policies.

  • Working with Content Owners to build custom pages, as necessary, and to configure their content for optimal usability by sales.

  • Troubleshooting system issues as they arise by working with others in Sales Enablement Technology, IT, Product Marketing, and outside vendors.

  • Supporting Sales Enablement Technology team with reports and analysis developed in collaboration with stakeholders (Sales Directors, Sales Enablement teams, Product Marketers).

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams to ensure our Sales Enablement Technology capabilities continue to align to their business requirements.

  • Working with the full Sales Enablement team to provide knowledge and expertise for developing new governance guidelines and overall site efficiency when expanding our platforms into other countries and regions.

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and outside vendors to ensure optimal effectiveness of Sales Enablement platforms and tools.

  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of all Iron Mountain products and services and their corresponding value proposition.

  • Helping with the administration of Sales Enablement platforms by backing up the Sales Enablement Technology Systems Administrator

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Must have strong English language skills, with other languages desirable (French, German, Spanish).

  • Strong communication skills, including experience of working with content stakeholders (i.e., Product Marketers, Sales trainers, Sales Operations teams).

  • Must have experience in managing user access and library permissions for a content management / technology platform such as SAVO/Seismic, SFDC, SAP or similar.

  • Must have experience with creating and generating reports and analytics to determine system use and adoption. Experience with Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Python programming or similar languages and with SQL databases is desirable.

  • Must have excellent organizational skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail and be self-motivated.

  • Desirable to have experience of developing / managing content repository systems

  • Must be able to demonstrate high proficiency in the use of software packages, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint. Experience with Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Data Studio) highly desirable.

  • Must be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge in web-based user interface design and HTML coding.

  • Confidence to navigate a large matrix of products and services and organizational teams.

Travel Requirements

  • Total travel: Less than 10%

  • Local travel (Depending on District): Less than 10%

  • Overnight travel: Less than 10%.
