Oracle Snr QA Manager in Ogden, Utah
Responsible for a team that develops, applies and maintains quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a manager in the technical/process QA division, you will lead a team that designs, installs and evaluates quality control methods and systems. You will also develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs.. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

Oracle Pandemic Response Team is searching for a Senior QA manager. As a member of the Pandemic Response team, youwill help build and grow the QA organization. You will help define the QA strategy for regression testing, functional testing, and automating test scripts.Work with cross-functional team members from customer success team, Product Management, and Development team. The candidate should be self-directed and have experience and knowledge of QA strategy and methodology.
Track and report defects in an agile development environment
Participate in reviews of development document deliverables such as requirements, functional designs, and technical designs
Work as part of cross functional team development and implementing new features in an Agile environment
Work closely with development team, product managers, and customer success team to ensure completeness of test cases, bug fixing and increase code coverage
Creating, executing and reviewing test plans for new product features
Create test data and seed databases, according to the test plan specifications
Analyze and understand existing test coverage and test cases, identifying opportunities for redesign, replacement, reusability, and improvement in efficiency and performance
B.S. or Master degree in computer engineering or equivalent
5 years experiences in managing software development and testing team
Previous experience building cloud applications
Great problem-solving skills and ability to understand functional requirements
Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development team
Solid experience working with different Testing Tools
Experience with designing a testing framework from the beginning
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
