The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Technology Services Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Taking inbound technical customer support calls for the 3M HIS software solutions, which involves multiple client phone conversations to fully understand and resolve issues

  • Assume responsibility for handling varied customer issues, inquiries, and problems with regard to 3M HIS software

  • Troubleshoot assigned 3M Software applications as well as interfaces (HL7, XML, etc.,) as well as Windows operating systems, network, and Citrix

  • Building credibility and trust with 3M HIS customers and department by providing solutions to software issues, inquiries and problems

  • Support the 3M team processes and participate on cross-functional and Six Sigma teams

  • Must be able to provide after-hours on-call support as necessary

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and seven (7) years experience in technical support environment in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree education requirement

  • Two (2) years computer systems technical experience or a technical degree

  • Ability to work a flexible shift

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • One (1) years’ experience with IIS, Windows Server OS, Windows 10, Citrix/TS, VM, ability to solve problems in a logical, methodical, and time efficient manner

  • Knowledge in basic database concepts including the ability to construct simple queries

  • Understanding of health care industry

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

Travel: Occasional travel may be required

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Location: Murray, UT or Silver Spring, MD

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
