Maintain and improve test automation standards and automation framework.
Create and maintain automated test scripts to validate the system at various phases of the software development lifecycle (e.g., integration test suite, regression test suite, smoke test suite, etc.).
Work collaboratively with quality assurance, software development, and product management to ensure the creation of quality products that meet customer needs.
Run test automation builds, analyze results and report issues found.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, including Salesforce, Heroku, Mulesoft, Amazon Web Services.
Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
Enhance and extend the automation library and framework.
Evaluate manual test cases to convert into automated test cases (Selenium, ReadyAPI, Jasmine/JEST)
Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
Research solutions for scaling and improving performance.
Analyze test results and consult with development engineers to ensure quality is delivered.
Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
Experience in Agile/Scrum software development
Familiar with test driven development (TDD) methodology
Professional experience in writing and maintaining test automation
Demonstrated skill in utilizing coding standards
Proficient with testing SOAP and/or RESTful web services
Familiarity with standard bug reporting tools such as Jira or TestRail
Experience with build management tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
Knowledgeable on DevOps continuous integration
Self-directed, detail-oriented, patient, and flexible, comfortable in a changing environment.
Self-starter with the strong ability to manage multiple tasks and project milestones is required.
Excellent knowledge of current software testing industry tools and standard methodologies
Experience using Amazon Web Services a plus
Education & Years of Experience
5+ years testing methodology and tool experience
2+ years of automation experience
Experience with designing and building web automation frameworks preferred
College degree preferred
