Oracle Subscription Management Principal Solution Engineer (NA-JoinCX) in Lehi, Utah
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

What You’ll Do
ORACLE Subscription Management and Configure Price Quote (CPQ) Solution Engineer.
Oracle Subscription Management empowers companies to build a predictable, recurring revenue model with an end-to-end solution that can be deployed across sales, commerce, and service channels. Integrate front- and back-office processes to manage contracts, billing, and revenue while providing your team with a complete view of your customers’ purchasing behavior. Handle modifications and changes as your customers initiate, renew, upgrade, and alter their subscriptions.
This highly rewarding role will offer you the opportunity to leverage your knowledge and skills of Subscription Management and Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and work in unison with Oracle’s best field sales executives, solving complex customer problems and translating customer requirements into solutions that drive business results. This is a critical role in driving the continued success of Oracle’s customers in North America.
Your core responsibility is to understand customer challenges and deliver solutions leveraging Oracle’s modern Cloud platform and applications.
You are expected to work directly with customers and members of the sales team on key selling activities such as:
Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle CX solutions to client business challenges.
Develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations.
Build repeatable cloud solution demonstrations.
Create new industry-focused solution innovations.
Convey the business value of Oracle solutions to meet customer needs.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A passion for learning and leadership in Subscription Management and CPQ. There will be a heavy emphasis on Subscription Management with CPQ expertise being a plus.
• Ability to discuss key industry issues, overall Oracle Front Office and Back Office solutions, and technical aspects with multiple customer levels (C-Level to Functional Managers and IT).
• 6-10 years of previous subscription pre-sales consulting or implementation experience with solutions such as Oracle, Salesforce, Apttus, SAP, Vlocity, PROS, Zuora.
• A history of selling to diverse leaders in multiple departments including Marketing, Sales, Service, Financials, Operations, and IT.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and prior experience.
CX experience preferred.
BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
