QuantiTech, Inc. Test Engineer - ICBM CTF Operational Command and Control Software in Hill AFB, Utah
QuantiTech is currently seeking a Engineer - ICBM CTF Operational Command and Control Software to support our customer in Hill AFB, Utah.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Provide technical support to the ICBM Combined Force (CTF) Lead Developmental & Evaluation Organization (LDTO) in development and evaluation (T&E) activities for AF Nuclear Center missile systems.
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary government and contractor team to plan, , analyze, and report through multiple program acquisition phases.
Lead developmental & evaluation oversight of assigned System software to assess performance against stated program requirements.
Review/incorporate cybersecurity requirements into T&E activities in collaboration with team members.
Coordinate with the program office and contractor to develop, review, and implement plans for all levels of software builds for assigned areas.
Support independent assessment of contractor results
Support integration and advancement of government assessment tools in the command and control area.
Support use of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) applications and agile techniques in T&E of the system.
Maintain cognizance of all assigned CTF/ Team engineering activities.
Assess support and systems integration progress and trends of testing, identify problems and areas of concern for assigned systems.
Support periodic reviews of test support and systems integration test results and test plan status. Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Integrated Test Teams (ITTs) as appropriate.
Provide technical support and advocate integrated approaches of engineering efforts and support of test activities for which existing guidelines may not be available or applicable.
Serve as a test team participant in the development of overall plans such as the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), System Test Plan (STP), Developmental Test (DT) Report, recommendation for IOT&E readiness, and other technical documents.
Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance at the required level. An active and transferrable DoD security clearance with active investigation is highly desirable.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and over 3 years of experience is required, some of which includes and evaluation. Relevant software experience can be partially substituted for a degree.
Demonstrated expertise in software methodologies and planning is required.
Proficiency in working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams is highly desired.
Work is timely, efficient and of acceptable quality. Completed work meets /program objectives.

Verbal and written communications are clear, concise, and at appropriate level.

Familiarity with & evaluation planning and processes consistent with DoD acquisition directives and policies is highly desired.
Familiarity with ICBM systems and related subsystems/equipment, their projected use in the military, and methods of testing is desired.
Familiarity with and conduct, /evaluation, and , technical report preparation, and administrative aspects of and programs is desired
Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
