Responsibilities
This position is for the AFNWC ICBM Directorate ISC 2.0 project.
Systems Engineering Experience and/or Certification
progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership
Able to create unified user experiences throughout a given application
Experienced with developing and orchestrating usability studies and addressing issues that are discovered
Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation and analysis & functional allocation
Conduct system requirements reviews
Develop concepts of operation & interface standards
Develop system architectures
Perform technical and nontechnical assessment & mgmt
End-to-end flow analysis
Generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness
Skill set includes ability to perform all stated/implied duties within the level/ tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tiers
Provide positions level of systems-engineering services AND
Depending on level - Technical leadership of engineering team
Qualifications
Minimum SECRET security clearance.
There are four levels for this position: Principal, Senior, Journeyman, Junior with educational and experience requirements as follows:
Principal: BS Degree in any engineering discipline AND MS Degree in any engineering discipline + 15 yrs of related experience OR PhD Degree in any engineering discipline + 9 yrs experience
Senior: BS Degree in any engineering discipline + 10 yrs of engineering experience OR MS Degree in any engineering discipline + 7 yrs engineering experience OR PhD Degree in any engineering discipline +4 yrs related engineering experience
Journeyman: BS Degree in any engineering discipline + 6 yrs of engineering experience OR MS Degree in any engineering discipline + 4 yrs engineering experience OR PhD Degree in any engineering discipline +2 yrs related engineering experience
Junior: BS Degree in any engineering discipline
DESIRED:
- Relevant core and advanced certifications as established/required per local, national and international industry standards or as necessitated by performance expectations associated with level of appointment
ICBM experience preferred
TS clearance desired
Professional Engineering License desired
Systems Engineering Certification desired
Additional Requirements
