As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design new systems to support the United States' defense. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize systems and or environments. You’ll develop your skills in technologies while gaining experience with DoD missions. You Have:

-5+ years of experience with systems engineering in major programs

-3+ years of experience in working with an Agile framework

-Experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach

-Experience with reviewing the work of other engineers for accuracy and correctness

-Ability to comprehend complex technical problems where capabilities are affected by technical achievability, affordability, and schedule

-Ability to lead small groups, typically with competing priorities, through a technical problem ending at a defendable solution

-Ability to provide support at the client site, including collaborating with engineers and management on technical issues, relaying said information back to the team, and fostering a collaborative and trustworthy environment between the two organizations

-Ability to arrange the product backlog to maximize value and teach techniques for effective product backlog management

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Science

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with coaching teams or Agile transformation

-Experience with Jira

-Experience with distributed teams spanning multiple geographies

-Ability to work closely with the team on a technical level and then translate that information into actionable capability decisions by management and the client organization

-Ability to lead and collaborate with mixed teams comprised of government and industry personnel and apply problem solving techniques when faced with complex problems under uncertainty

-Ability to interact with the client, providing the team’s technical updates, discussing roadblocks and issues, tracking and providing suggestions to the schedule, and facilitating technical discussions

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organizational skills, including tracking many moving pieces at once

-Active Secret clearance

-MS degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related science field

-Agile PMI-ACP Certification

-Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Certification
