CIMARRON SOFTWARE SERVICES, INC. Software Engineer in HILL AFB, Utah
Cimarron is seeking Software Engineers to provide technical, logistical, and maintenance services to support the Minuteman III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) operations and maintenance trainers. The selected candidates will be responsible for providing software engineering subject matter expertise to ensure the continued operational availability of Minuteman Procedures Trainers (MPT), ALCS Procedures Trainer (APT), and other applicable training systems. The MMIII System Program Office is located at Hill AFB, UT, and is responsible for the lifecycle sustainment of the weapon system which is operated at Malmstrom AFB, MT, Minot AFB, ND, and FE Warren AFB, WY. The selected candidates will provide technical and engineering services and solutions to ensure the MMIII remains safe, secure, and effective through the end of life. Key Duties *Lead the development of software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for Minuteman III and ALCS Procedures Trainer simulators utilizing VAX4000/NUVAX. *Lead the development and integration of software components into fully functional software systems to meet a wide variety of mission and customer goals. *Develop software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments. *Execute tests at multiple levels to verify software performance. *Lead and direct the implementation of state of the art software development practices, processes, and tools to create a world-class software sustainment team. *Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Minuteman III trainer software domains. *Support program development efforts, reviews, and issue resolutions. Required Skills, Experience, and Education *Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. *Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. *Familiarity with MMIII training systems, the APT, and VAX4000/NUVAX. *Ability to interface with various teams, management, and customers. *Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related technical discipline and 5 or more years of professional experience, or a related Master's degree and 3 or more years of professional experience. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education *Experience sustaining MMIII training systems, the APT, and VAX4000/NUVAX. *Active Secret security clearance.
