We are currently seeking a Systems Engineering Requirements Database and Change Management Associate to provide join to our systems engineering homeroom team in our Promontory Utah office.
This individual will work with internal teams to assist in implementing and administering Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) management tools. The qualified applicant will become part of NG Propulsion System's Systems Engineering (SE) Homeroom team. The Requirements Database & Change Management Associate will work with systems engineers to develop and maintain systems engineering management tools, specification development, interface control, system modelling, development & improvement of MBSE practices, change management, and system functional analysis.
Role Description & Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the SE Lead (responsible for requirements databases and tools development) mature and maintain database tools (construct/format definition), implementations as well as utilization instructions and command media.
Collaborates with SEs to manage project technical requirements; facilitate capture of the project requirements, dissemination to engineering teams datasets/products; facilitates ensuring verification methods are defined in the specifications and verification plans.
Coordination of assigned tasks and work effort with requesting SEs and technical teams Creation of deliverable specifications and MBSE products compliant with procedures and standards
Facilitation of related change generation and managementWork with the system engineering team to elicit customer requirements and develop system engineering models using a model-based engineering strategy in Cameo using SysML.
Help develop and maintain standard work instructions for MBSE practices.Perform configuration management tasks associated with database management. Review and evaluate technical documents for compliance with standard processes.
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university & 5 years experience
Experience in database management, configuration control, and technical writing
Demonstrated ability to function in a matrixed construct and self manage dynamic workload
Experience in Database management and development with demonstrated abilities in scripting/coding
Experience with CM processes and practices
Experience in requirements development, specification and technical document development
Strong and demonstrated communication, planning, project management and technical writing skills
Engineering development program support, program/customer interaction experience
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Secret clearance
